Variety specifications are determined on the basis of multiple measurements conducted at Floricultura and a number of test locations. Spike length and percentages depend strongly on cultivation method used and local conditions. Spike percentages based on insufficient data are not being published on this website.
The vase life indicated is based on longevity tests conducted by Royal FloraHolland. These tests are conducted in a setting that simulates an average Western European living room, with varieties that are grown under average Dutch conditions. Therefore, the vase life of these same varieties, if they are grown in other parts of the world, may differ. These longevity tests are always purely indicative and subject to deviations.
